Fitness for Racing

Work at your own pace in the convenience of your own home. Learning is done in Google Classroom. When you enroll, you will receive an email within 24 hours with enrollment information. You have the ability to communicate with other students as well as ask questions about the materials.

The course is organized by individual exercises rather than weekly lesson plans. This allows you to move at your own pace and focus on what your dog needs most. You will get 11 exercises (8 of which have levels of progression) that are designed to improve your dog's performance in racing, each with a video demo.

Appropriate for healthy dogs over 1 year old.

These are the basic equipment needs. As exercises progress, equipment needs may change to increase the level of difficulty.

• Set of cavaletti's (I posted a cheap set of cones on TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/@dogsofanarchyk9fitness/video/7547853032977878303?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc), you can also make your own out of pvc). Also 2 fence stakes you can get at your local hardware store, cones, or plungers with pool noodles.
• A board with non-slip surface you can lean against a wall (piece of plywood with rubber matting from local hardware store or rockerboard).
• A platform that your can perform down exercises on (like my plank or posture training board) or my posture bars will work as well.
• A sit platform to encourage proper alignment but not required (sensimat or the posture bars).
• An elevated object about chest high (e.g., stool, klimb).
• An elevated object your dog can jump onto (klimb, agility table)
• Three stable objects of same height
